For 40 years DAWN has worked tirelessly to support, empower, and shelter families from domestic abuse. Our mobile advocates have worked to offer over 25,000 hours of services in 2019, and the need for services is only on the rise. No one could have predicted the uncertainties that came along with COVID-19, but now we are doing our best to ensure the physical safety and mental health of domestic violence survivors is more than just protected. During this challenging time we are unable to accept physical donations which means most, if not all donations of food supplies, hygiene products, and other essentials for survivor families has been temporarily halted. Your support provides hope for survivors, and lets them know the community cares for them and they are not forgotten. Your GIVE BIG donation helps fund the support of survivors with medical visits, the first months rent in their new home, and unforeseen repairs at our emergency shelter.
